EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Dr Vishal Modi passed his M.B.B.S from Kesar Sal Medical College in 2011. He obtained his M.D Pathology degree from the the apex cancer institute of Gujarat ( Gujarat Cancer and Research Centre, Ahmedabad) in 2016.

He was a fellow at the renowned Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai for one year where he trained under experienced histopathologists with special emphasis on GI tract and Medical Renal Pathology.

He has done an observership in Dermatopathology at Illustrious Christian Medical College, Vellore, where he saw over 500 dermatopathology cases.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Vishal Modi has worked as a consultant Histopathologist and Cytopathologist for 4 years at Unipath Specialty Lab which is one of the leading labs for histopathology and cytopathology services at Ahmedabad.

He has reported nearly 50000 histopathology and cytopathology cases in a career span of 4 years.

He has a good hold in the field of GI tract pathology, Medical renal biopsies, Oculopathology and Dermatopathology.

He has reported a variety of non neoplastic GI tract diseases with a solid hold over Infalmmatory Bowel Disease.

Dr Vishal Modi is one of the few histopathologists in Ahmedabad who has reported a variety of cases in Onco-Oculopathology including many retinoblastomas, melanomas, lymphomas and OSSNs and various other benign lesions.

Dermatopathology is one of the most difficult sub-specialties in Histopathology and we are proud to say that Dr Vishal Modi is capable of removing the most difficult of difficult skin cases.
